So why would this be useless for Dolphin 5.0? The wiki page perfectly posts info on how to fix the minimap, which was your issue right? I am getting confussed. Most of the time it has vital information on how to fix or improve a particular game. I just wondered if you checked the game's wiki page before posting your issue. You might wanna try changing Anti-Aliasing and Anistropic filtering (disable it for example). Make sure you don't open the graphics settings tab during gameplay, this reverts the settings back to the user preferences. Maybe you did hide the minimap through the D-Pad button? Which backend renderer do you use? OpenGL, D3D11 or D3D12? You might wanna change between those, especially since D3D12 is experimental for now. No issues here with Dolphin 5.0 when running Twilight Princess. I've played through the game once on my other computer and know my way around pretty well, so most places I can sort of do without it, but it makes the light-collection sessions really really annoyingly hard. And (weirdest of all) sometimes it shows random chunks of texture maps, everything from character textures to rock textures to tree bark, often mixes of them.
Some times it sort of shows it the same way, but with chunks of the map moved around and duplicated and tons of boxy garble. Exactly what the map itself looks like varies depending on where I am, some places it displays a very weak gray outline of the actual minimap (location arrow still doesn't work though). First, the location indicator arrow doesn't work at all anywhere, it is frozen in some random spot or nonexistant. It's not just different edges or going black like I've seen other people report, it goes totally haywire and is totally useless. This game has been working fine for me (with the Hyrule Field speed hack) on my main computer, but just tried this on a different computer (i7-6500U, 6GB 1600MHz DDR3, no GPU) and though performance-wise it works great, the minimap is destroyed. what exactly is happening here, and why does it only happen with those codes enabled? Are they for an older version of Dolphin, or is there some other incompatibility? If they are incompatible, is there any way to update it so it works? Any help is much appreciated! Enjoy."Īt which point the game's graphics get glitchy and stretched, and it flickers black until I alt+ctrl+del, open task manager, and close it manually. * This really is an unknown opcode (unlikely)įurther errors will be sent to the Video Backend log andĭolphin will now likely crash or hang. * Command stream corrupted by some spurious memory bug * The emulated GPU got desynced, disabling dual core can help
But this only lasts for about fifteen minutes or so. I run around Hyrule Field fighting stuff I take extra damage, enemies take less. Conveniently enough, they both work perfectly in-game.
